Richard Cupolo and John Emanuele, songwriting duo of a band named The American Dollar filed a $3 million copyright infringement case against the Osteens. The main issue is about the unlawful use of the song “Signaling Through the Flames.” Don Ilof, the spokesman of the Osteen responded:
“…The two musicians are ‘apparently confused about the scope of the license, and are now demanding $3 million for uses that are authorized. We think this is unreasonable’…”
